Hi! I’m Alexa, a professional running coach with a background in Fitness Training from the University of Central Florida (UCF). For well over a decade, running has been my passion, and over that time, I have developed extensive expertise related to what works (and what doesn’t work) when it comes to running training methodology and how to cross the finish line happy, healthy, and energized.

Running has truly transformed my life and my love of running has taken me across countless finish lines, including 1 ultra marathon, 4 marathons, and over 30 half marathons.  Now I love helping others pursue their own running goals, whether you’re looking to run your first mile or tackle ultra distances.

Throughout my years of running, I’ve continually been reminded of the importance of proper training. With focused training, I’ve made incredible strides—cutting my marathon time from 4:19 to 3:48 and my half marathon time from 2:15 to 1:50. I’ve also come to understand the impact that strength training, proper fueling, rest, recovery, and finding joy in running make on your experience. And I’ve seen what happens when motivation wanes or challenges seem insurmountable. 

As a coach, I’ve been fortunate to guide amazing clients to success. From helping runners conquer new distances and set new PRs to motivating people to embrace the joy of running and run injury-free, I’m dedicated to meeting each runner where they are and guiding them to where they want to be in a way that works best for them.

I specialize in helping new runners cross the finish line and know it can be intimidating to work with a coach when you’re just starting out. I was that girl who didn’t want to ask for help and thought I could do it on my own. So I spent a long time working hard but getting frustrated because my technique and training routines weren’t working. I realize now that I could have gotten so much more joy and seen so much more success if I had just asked for a little help along the way.
